The Demand for Launchpad
Building on the success of, and demand for the Shine and Strength programmes, a number of schools in Southern Tasmania have asked for a complimentary programme for grade six students. Requests have so far been independently received from Dodges Ferry Primary, Clarendon Vale Primary and Emmanuel Christian School. We imagine that many other schools will want to take up the programme once it has been established.
What’s Launchpad About?
Kids in grade six are just coming out of their young childhood. They are about to hit some of lifeʼs big decisions and the complex teenage years. Itʼs extremely important to teach them sound core values early so that they have a strong foundation for the coming years. Kids with dreams for the future and healthy self respect can make positive decisions that benefit themselves and their community, and resist victimisation.
